First of all, it is worth reminding what is sustainable development.
Sustainable développement aims at improving the well-being of present and future generation while respecting needs and aspirations. In other words, this is a practice to preserver resources for future generation without compromising the integrity, stability and beauty of nature.
It has been defined according to three dimensions: ecology, economy and equity or environment, economic and social.
Overexploitation of natural resources, social inequities, rural poverty, global warming and new health problems may be the consequences of an economy obliged to meet modern consumer society requirements.
Sustainable development may be the solution.
